Using Fierce to deal with 'whoever shouts the loudest'.

In this video blog, PDA's Tasha George deals with the real life situation of a new employee snowed under by competing demands on their time. Their default has been to respond to 'whoever shouts the loudest'.

That employee has then asked for help. But in a resource tight business, the idea of transferring somebody internally to help has created its own problems. Nobody likes losing a team member.

Tasha says this common pressure and the internal rivalries it creates could be confronted by using the Fierce Conversations principle of interrogating reality. Then a proper assessment can be made of the rival claims for extra help. And compromises can be reached.
